Yuvraj Singh Named ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 Ambassador

Yuvraj Singh, renowned for his breathtaking performance during India’s victorious Men’s T20 World Cup campaign in 2007, has been appointed as an Ambassador for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, with only 36 days remaining until the commencement of this highly anticipated event.

Famously remembered for his remarkable feat of hitting six sixes in an over, Yuvraj will grace a series of promotional events leading up to and during the T20 extravaganza, including the electrifying clash between India and Pakistan in New York on 9 June.

Reflecting on his association with the T20 World Cup, Yuvraj expressed his excitement, stating, “Some of my most cherished cricketing memories stem from the T20 World Cup, particularly the exhilarating moment of achieving six sixes in an over. Scheduled to take place from 1-29 June, the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will kick off with the USA facing Canada in the opening match at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas. Over the course of the tournament, 20 teams will compete across nine venues, culminating in the grand finale on 29 June in Barbados.

The historic inauguration of the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium will witness a clash between 2014 champions Sri Lanka and South Africa on 3 June, featuring 10 teams across eight matches in New York.
