The tournament saw the participation of 158 school players from various districts, including Mumbai, Thane, and Palghar, who competed in vibrant matches held at the RMMS auditorium in Parel. However, it was Anahita who stood out, displaying exceptional skill and composure throughout the event.
Anahita’s path to victory included swift wins against Reyansh Kalani, Kian Patkar, Viona Jain, and Abir Agarwal. In the decisive fifth round, she faced her toughest challenge against the undefeated Ivan Dubey. The match required Anahita to adopt a more cautious approach.
