In a display of exceptional talent, Yash Raj Kadam, Adya Parsanis, Sarthak Patankar, and Paridhi Budhwar have advanced to the quarterfinals of the PYC HTBA Amanora Cup District Ranking Badminton Tournament in the under-19 boys category, held on the badminton court of PYC Hindu Gymkhana in Pune.

The fourth round of the under-19 boys witnessed intense matches, with Yash Raj Kadam overcoming Krishna Jasuja 19-21, 21-9, 21-15, Adya Parsanis securing victory against Sudeep Khorate 21-15, 21-18, and Vatsalya Garg triumphing over Granth Walecha 21-10, 21-17. Sarthak Patankar displayed his prowess by defeating Tanish Darpe 21-11, 21-9, securing a spot in the quarterfinals.

The under-19 girls’ singles sub-quarterfinals showcased impressive performances as Shriya Utpat defeated Ira Apte 21-8, 21-7, Sanika Patankar overcame Prachi Shitole 21-14, 21-7, and Jijisa Chaudhary secured victory against Navya Ranka 22-20, 21-19.

Safa Shaikh demonstrated dominance, easily defeating Divyansh Wahal 21-8, 21-12, while Paridhi Bhudwara emerged victorious against Sayuri Thokal with a scoreline of 21-11, 21-17.
