The Women’s Premier League is set to get off to a flying start from Friday. The opening match will be played between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals.

The Women’s Premier League will begin on February 23. The eliminator match will be held on March 15. The final match of this tournament will be played on March 17 at the Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium in Delhi. A total of 20 matches will be played in the league stage of this tournament. There will be 22 matches including the eliminator and the final.
Five teams namely Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Gujarat Giants, Delhi Capitals and UP Warriors have participated in the Women’s Premier League. The opening match of the tournament will be played between the defending champions Mumbai Indians and the defending runners-up Delhi Capitals. A colourful ceremony will also be held before the match. Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan, Kartik Aryan, Siddharth Malhotra, Tiger Shroff, Shahid Kapoor, and Varun Dhawan will perform in it.
This year’s Women’s Premier League season will be played in two cities, Bangalore and Delhi. 11 matches will be played at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore in the first phase. The tournament will then be held at the Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium in New Delhi. Last time the entire season was held in Mumbai.
