We Live In Time, a romantic-comedy drama directed by John Crowley stars Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh as Tobias and Almut.
The theme of the movie is about love and loss which narrates the significant life events that happen such as unexpected illness, love, family building, and the joy of life. It’s about the journey of a couple marked by moments of joy, sadness, and profound connection. John Crowly did a pretty good job of showcasing the depth of love and complexities of loss. We Live In Time begins with an unconventional meet-cute of Almut and Tobias when Almut hits Tobias with her car accidentally. The story builds up with their chemistry of falling in love, getting married, and having a kid together. Later on, the couple faces uncertainty in life when Almut gets diagnosed with cancer.
