Vinicius Jr uses racism as victim card for his scratchy form in La Liga 24/25

Real Madrid have not had the best start of the season. The defending champions dropped points in a 1-1 draw against Mallorca in the very first game. Then in the second match, they won 3-0 against Real Valladolid. However, the dangerous forward line has failed to impress so far in the La Liga. The likes of Vinicius Jr, Kylian Mbappe, and Rodrygo are near to their best.

Amidst the poor form of the attacking line, there has been a controversy surrounding the team. Again the chant of racism has been taking place in La Liga. It is the same old victim Vinicius Jr and his Madrid football mates. The Brazilian winger broke down into tears after the toll of the racism he faces with uncomfortable regularity when playing for the reigning champions. This is a long-going thing happening with the footballer.

During the international break in April, Vini was asked by reporters about the incidents he had been facing in Spain ahead of Brazil’s game against Spain. He said it is the reason behind his decline in desire to continue playing the game. Something similar again happened in the previous game against Valladolid. This time he has answered that he along with his teammates will walk off if any kind of racial abuse further happens.

Vinicius Jr is always the victim of racial abuse

Is Vini Jr using racism as a victim card to divert the media about his poor form? This might be one reason the fans have noticed that the 24-year-old winger is always provoking his opponents on the field and whenever the opponents provoke him he uses the victim card of racism. This is not the right thing for an international footballer who starts the chaos and when time returns will start playing as a victim.

However, racism is not an option for the fans or any footballers to abuse other players. The fans need to understand the facts stand against racial abuse and fight against the same. Footballers previously have stood against the same and fought for the rights of the beautiful game. No team would like to walk off the pitch due to the racial abuse.
