Vicky Kaushal Is Built Different After Rising Above Humiliation At Auditions

The most Joshila actor of Bollywood Vicky Kaushal has won hearts with both his acting and charm. The actor recently gave a tough competition to her wife in the song “Tauba Tauba” which became an online sensation for quite some time. People who genuinely know the capabilities of Vicky Kaushal must have watched his performance in “Masaan”. The actor ventured into different aspects of acting, that one particular scene when his lover’s dead body was something to die for. That scene is what we remember when we think of Bollywood, it is what inspires the aspiring actors and it’s something we make reels on.

But “Masaan” didn’t earn him the fame he has now. It took him years to get where he is, and one movie that made it possible was- “Uri: The Surgical Strike”. Vicky Kaushal’s performance in Uri made him an online sensation in one night. Bollywood finally recognized his existence after all these years of hard work. It took him a lifetime to get here and we just got some inside details into what it was like for him during all those struggling years. Stunt Director and Vicky Kaushal’s father Sham Kaushal opened up on how both of his sons especially Vicky Kaushal went through so much humiliation and rejection before reaching here.

Sham Kaushal shared that he was keen on giving his son a proper education like normal people but was left with no choice when Vicky and Sunny expressed their interest in working in the industry. Sham Kaushal shared with the media, “I couldn’t say no because I was earning from the same industry. I thought someone might offer them tea out of respect for me, but nobody would invest crores in a film with them. However, since I also came from a village and worked hard, I believed that if they stayed honest and put in the effort, they would not be denied,” Sham said. He clarified that while he was always there as a father, he wouldn’t be able to assist them professionally, adding, “As an action director, I never approached anyone to give them work,” he said. Sham Kaushal mentioned that people used to pass on comments like “Vicky Ka Kya audition lena”, which made Vicky Kaushal feel very humiliated. But his father didn’t let both his sons give up on their dreams because of these circumstances. He added, “Until you experience humiliation, you won’t truly grow. Make that insult your strength.”

If only everyone had that kind of back support from their parents there would be fewer failures. One thing that will never change about the film industry is its motto to uplift the uplifted. You are no one if you are not personal friends with the Bollywood Mafias.
