Italy’s Jannik Sinner, who is at the top of the world rankings, won the US Open tennis tournament title. This is Sinner’s second Grand Slam title. The 23-year-old Sinner has won the second Grand Slam title of his career. He also won the Australian Open in early 2024. The match started late Sunday night in New York and lasted for more than 2 hours. It showed the dominance of the top-ranked Sinner. He won the first set 6-3. He then took the lead by winning the second set 6-4 and won the final set 7-5. American player Taylor Fritz reached the final after 18 years. However, Taylor Fritts fell short of winning the first Grand Slam title. Earlier, Andy Roddick of America reached the final in 2006.

Fritz had a chance to win his first Grand Slam but was unsuccessful. No American player has won the US Open men’s singles title since 2003. One million fans reached the stadium to watch the US Open. After the final, the organizers of the US Open said in a post that the number of fans watching the match at the US Open had crossed 1 million. This is the first time that such a large number have come to watch the match.
