Jon Jones’s UFC Salary Demand Is An Unrealistic Greed

Jon Jones successfully defended his heavyweight title for the first time at UFC 309, defeating Stipe Miocic via third-round TKO. ‘Bones’ indicated that he plans to continue his mixed martial arts career after hinting at retirement before the clash. He spoke on the cost of challenging Tom Aspinall for the heavyweight championship. On X Jones, the younger Paul brother requested a guarantee of $50 million and a portion of pay-per-view revenues.

If Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall do meet in the Octagon, one of the most anticipated fights in the UFC in 2025 might be between the two heavyweights. Speculation continues to rise over whether we will see a meeting between the champ and the interim champ, but it appears that the cage will host a showdown between them in 2025. Jon Jones successfully defended his UFC heavyweight championship against Stipe Miocic at UFC 309.

Following the encounter, White expressed extraordinary optimism, stating that Jones and Aspinall will face off in 2025. Jones’s UFC Financial Desires”

As Dana White noted, this might be a record-breaking confrontation between these two, as evidenced by the sheer number of people seeking it. That bout with Alex Pereira is a possible super fight waiting in the wings, but White has laid down the law for Bones to see that happen. Jones has reportedly requested around $30 million to bring the fight to fruition. However, Paul believes that he should ask for more.

Jake Paul said, “Did my math. Understand their hope to have Jon Jones lose so they can create the next man. So… Bones should be getting a $50M guarantee for that fight. And $10 for every PPV buy above 600K. If they offer that to Jon, it’s fair. He should take it. It’s probably the biggest fight in heavyweight history and it’s a massive fight in the history of the company, too.”
