Colby Covington has insulted Khamzat Chimaev in his latest rant. Covington referenced the ‘SMASH’ meme incident and accused Chimaev of scamming his fans. For reference, earlier this year, Chimaev faced criticism from various areas of the MMA community for using his social media channels to promote the digital meme coin ‘SMASH’. The 30-year-old’s significant push caused the cryptocurrency’s value to skyrocket, but a sudden decrease the next day led others to fear.
They had been duped, in response, ‘Borz’s manager Majdi Shammas accepted responsibility. He said that he agreed to shoot a brief video advertising the coin’s introduction without conducting proper research. This is not the first time Covington has targeted Chimaev. During a 2017 ESPN MMA interview, ‘Chaos’ accused the undefeated fighter of avoiding a bout with him. In their most recent MMA fight, Leon Edwards defeated Covington by unanimous decision at UFC 296 last year.

He said, ”He’s [Chimaev] an absolute sc*mbag. The fact that he rug-pulled all his fans, that’s the most disgusting act I’ve seen in the MMA ever, he and Khabib, are absolute scammers like dude you’re making enough good money with the UFC, now you’re going to rug-pull, and do a fake meme coin and scam all your fans for millions of dollars…for him to just sh*t on all his fans, it’s disgusting I mean that’s why he’s c*mshot, guy’s f**king worst person on Earth.”
Covington further added, ”Jon [Jones] has some fruity tendencies…I remember in college he always used to get the fattest girls in the school. I’m talking 300 pounds-plus. Dude, he knows deep down inside, this is not a joke…He’s been with some of the fattest, 300-pound slobs. It’s disgusting. Dude, Jon Jones is an absolute f**king disgrace to this earth. He’s a f**king joke.”
