In the boys’ category, Daksh Goyal faced a challenging match against Imran, adopting the London style but falling short of capitalizing on a weakened E4 house. The game resulted in a draw. Jihan Shah displayed a strong performance, strategically controlling the board against Adak Bivor, securing a favorable position. Paras, in a gripping match, broke Vatsal’s Sicilian defense and executed a strategic turnaround, securing victory.
The girls’ category witnessed Mrittika Mallick’s dominant lead as she aggressively used Sicilian defense to claim a decisive victory. Sachi Jain faced a surprising defeat against Shubhi Gupta, altering the dynamics of the competition. Meanwhile, Sannidhi Bhat initially held a strong position but succumbed to Sneha Halder’s unexpected moves, ending in defeat.
