Serena William retired after she ran in the 2022 US Open. Since then, she has spent time with her family and given birth to her second daughter. In addition, she has been involved in several commercial enterprises. However, Williams is never far from tennis. She competed at the Paris Olympics and the US Open this year. Although she has achieved great success as a player, she may also consider coaching.
Andy Murray, who retired earlier this year, is currently coaching Novak Djokovic. His return may push the Americans to follow suit. Although most of Williams’ peers have retired, many young stars could benefit from her expertise. Although she may not be interested in full-time coaching, she could consider becoming a consultant. The 43-year-old former tennis player revealed a new, leaner appearance at an event in Miami on Saturday, Dec. 7.
She showcased it in an Instagram video of her dancing while dressed in athletic clothes. The post comes after the former tennis player disclosed that she switched from tennis rackets to running shoes to improve her stamina in preparation for a half-marathon. The 23-time Grand Slam champion told PEOPLE last month that she intended to run the race by the end of 2025.

The 23-time Grand Slam singles champion is also known to use a lot of honey. Williams explained that she used honey to sweeten tea for her daughter Olympia. Williams said, “Good morning y’all. So my husband isn’t home and on the farm that we have, we have lots of different things, Soursop trees and we have this tree called Moringa, and they both have incredibly healing properties. I take the leaves from the trees, dehydrate them, and then I make this tea.
