As anticipation builds for the T20 World Cup 2024, Team India is set to commence its campaign with a clash against Ireland on June 5. The much-anticipated showdown against arch-rival Pakistan is scheduled for June 9, intensifying the cricketing fever.
According to a report by Sports Tak, the initial matches for Team India in the T20 World Cup, taking place from June 4 to June 5, will see them face off against Ireland.
Subsequently, on June 9, the Indian squad will enter the battleground against Pakistan. New York is likely to host Team India’s three group-stage matches, adding to the excitement for fans worldwide.
The T20 World Cup 2024 will witness the participation of 20 teams, organized into four groups of five teams each. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super-8 stage, consisting of two groups with four teams each.
Each team will play three matches within their group. The top two teams from this stage will proceed to the semi-finals.
