Swaratim University Dominates Volleyball Tournament, Eyes Knockout Glory

In a remarkable display of skill and determination, Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University’s volleyball team showcased their prowess by winning over opponents in the Western Regional Inter University Volleyball Tournament held at their home ground in Nanded. The host university clinched victories against Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad, and Kota University, paving the way for potential success in the knockout stages.

Under the vigilant guidance of Vice-Chancellor Dr. Prakash Mahanwar and In-charge Director of Sports Dr. Manoj Reddy, the team, led by players such as Vishal Wagre, Manthan Shinde, and Nadeem Pathan, displayed a masterful command of various skills. The coaching trio of Dr. Kailas Pallane, Dr. Vijay Hande, and Team Manager Vikram Kunturwar played a pivotal role in imparting fundamental instructions, contributing to the team’s victories.

The Western Regional tournament witnessed intense competition, with universities like Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, and Shivaji University, Kolhapur, securing wins in the league matches.
