The project level sports competition organized for students from government and aided ashram schools under the Integrated Tribal Development Project in Nandurbar witnessed exceptional success for Sultanpur Ashram School. The competition, held at the District Sports Complex in Nandurbar, culminated with high spirits and notable achievements, with Sultanpur Ashram School athletes securing a remarkable total of 24 medals.
Outstanding Performance The sports competition’s inauguration, presided over by Zilla Parishad President Supriyatai Gavit and MP Dr. Hinatai Gavit, marked the beginning of an eventful tournament. The presence of Project Officer Chandrakant Pawar, Assistant Project Officers, Education Extension Officers, and dedicated school staff, including principals, superintendents, sports teachers, team managers, and student athletes, added to the enthusiasm of the occasion.
Under the able coordination of Education Extension Officer D. N. Sonune and the gratitude expressed by Assistant Project Officer P. M. Vasave, the competition witnessed the participation of 1446 students. The students, representing various ashram schools, were provided with accommodation and meals during the competition.
Sultanpur Ashram School Shines Government Secondary Ashram School Sultanpur Shahada District students from Nandurbar emerged as standout performers, clinching a remarkable total of 24 medals, including 12 gold and 12 silver, in individual sports categories. This outstanding achievement has earned these students the opportunity to compete in the upcoming divisional sports competition in Nashik.
