Star Sports Academy Aquatic Aces Make a Splash at State School Swimming Competition

In a dazzling display of aquatic prowess, the young talents from Nagpur’s Star Sports Academy emerged victorious at the state-level school swimming competition held in Pune. The academy’s stars clinched multiple podium finishes, showcasing their exceptional skills and cementing their status as rising stars in the swimming arena.

Five outstanding athletes from Star Sports Academy showcased their swimming finesse across various categories. In the under-14 segment, Harday Garg secured the second position in both the 100m and 200m breaststroke events, leaving an indelible mark on the competition. The under-17 category witnessed Digvijay Adam’s brilliance as he claimed second place in the 200m and 400m individual medley events, displaying versatility and determination.

Siddharth Sangha’s prowess was evident in the under-14 category, securing a commendable third place in the fiercely contested 50m butterfly event. Raghav Bhargava made waves in the under-19 boys’ category, securing the second position in the 1500m freestyle, showcasing endurance and skill.

Rudra Palkrit showcased exceptional talent in the under-19 boys’ category, finishing second in both the 100m and 200m backstroke events. The stellar performances of Harday Garg, Digvijay Adam, Raghav Bhargava, and Rudra Palkrit have rightfully earned them spots in the upcoming National School Swimming Championships.

All the medal-winning swimmers are dedicated members of the Star Sports Academy, honing their skills through rigorous training at the NIT swimming pool in Ambazari. Under the expert guidance of coaches Nitin Malwade, Manil Razak, Shubham Srivas, Pankaj Sorate, and Amit Meshram, these young athletes have flourished, showcasing the academy’s commitment to nurturing talent.

Hemant Chaudhary, President of Star Sports Academy, along with Vice President Sandeep Khobragade, and Prashant Ugemuge, President of Hanuman Sports Academy, extended their heartfelt congratulations to the victorious swimmers. Preeti Lanjekar and Manager Ashwin Janabandhu joined in the celebration, recognizing the athletes’ dedication and exceptional achievements.
