In a commendable display of sportsmanship, St. Xavier’s School secured the runner-up position in the district-level football tournament organized by the Nine A Side Football Association Nagpur. The W. C. L. Ground at Khaparkheda Nagpur witnessed fierce competition, with 27 teams battling it out across various age groups. St. Xavier’s School Hivari Nagar emerged triumphant in the under-12 category.
The dynamic nine-a-side football team comprised Jasraj Singh Chauhan, Mohammad Hashir, Abhir Durugkar, Ishan Mishra, Shlok Khandelwal, Savya Virutkar, Kanav Sinha, Rishit Taklikar, Ansh Kedar, Rikshit Chaudhary, Nashbul Sheikh, Jeevansh Lambat, and Divyansh Agarwal.
Medals, certificates, and trophies adorned the deserving players, a fitting recognition for their dedication and skill. School Principal Surbhi Barshikar and Coach Kiran Yadav extended their heartfelt congratulations to the triumphant team.
