South Korean Shooter Sending Wrong Message By Doing Movies

The Paris Olympics 2024 has come to an end. In the shooting category, there have been some viral videos that have made the athletes famous on social media. Among one of them is South Korea’s famous shooter Kim Yeji. Her cool style, skill, and demeanour won hearts on the internet at the multinational event in Paris. She has been known for her attitude and that has landed him on the big screen.

The South Korean shooter will be doing her first acting role. According to a spokeswoman for the Seoul-based entertainment corporation, she is going to play an assassin “Crush,” a spinoff series of the worldwide film project “Asia.” It is believed a suitable role for the athlete whose cold attitude has already earned comparisons to action heroes like James Bond and John Wick. This is a huge opportunity for the shooter to make a name for herself in the cinemas as well.

Kim won the silver medal in the women’s 10m air pistol event at the 2024 Summer Olympics. But it was images of her dressing sense like an assassin in a black tracksuit and baseball cap that helped her attract greater public reactions. As the videos of her shooting went viral throughout the internet, she received praise from Elon Musk.

Kim Yeji ready to rock on the big screens

Is the South Korean shooter creating the wrong image of doing an assassin movie? There’s no harm in doing movies until and unless the main focus of her career gets shifted. Previously also sports stars have done several movies. They have been successful in both their fields. According to the company Kim will star with Indian actress and Instagram Influencer Anushka Sen.

It will be exciting to see “the potential synergy that will arise from Kim Yeji and Anushka Sen’s new transformation into a killer duo.” The 32-year-old has also done photoshoots with big fashion companies such as Louis Vuitton for W Korea.
