Solapur Dominates State Sub-Junior Softball with Both Boys’ Teams Reaching Semifinals

Solapur’s boys’ softball teams have showcased their prowess, securing spots in the semi-finals of the 29th state-level sub-junior softball tournament. Organized by the Solapur Municipal District Softball Association and Global Village Shikshan Sankul Boramani, both Solapur teams demonstrated exceptional performance.

In a noteworthy match, the Solapur municipal team clinched victory against the Pimpri Chinchwad municipal team with a 5-2 home run. The Solapur district team continued the winning streak by defeating the Pune city team with a 3-1 home run, securing their place in the semi-finals.

The success of the tournament was marked by the presence of distinguished figures such as Vice Principal Somnath Swamy, State Joint Secretary Gokul Tandale, and other officials from various districts. International umpires and players contributed to the event, ensuring fair play and expert officiating.
