In the Nashik district-level kickboxing competition, the School of Self-Defense emerged as a dominant force, clinching an impressive 46 medals. Their haul included 24 gold, 10 silver, and 12 bronze medals, showcasing their superior skills and dedication to the sport.
The championship was held at the Divisional Indoor Stadium, where athletes from various schools competed fiercely. Schools such as Ashoka Universal School, KK Wagh School, Wisdom High School, Nirmala Convent School, Horizon Academy, Urdu National School, RP Vidyalaya, JMCT School, and Bhosla School all participated. Despite the stiff competition, the players from the School of Self-Defense stood out with their remarkable performance across various events including low kick, point fight, semi-contact, full contact, and musical form.
The success of these athletes can be attributed to the expert guidance and training provided by their coaches, Chief Coach Bhushan Ohol, Tausif Shaikh, Raju Jaiswal, and Anamay Birodkar. Their comprehensive training program ensured that the athletes were well-prepared and able to deliver outstanding performances in every category.
In recognition of their achievements, the winning players from the School of Self-Defense have been selected to compete in the state-level competition in Pune.
