Sagar Waghmare and Samriddhi Ghadigaonkar have reached the semi-final in the Guardian Minister State Ranking Carrom Competition held at Mahalakshmi Hall, Kudal, Sindhudurg in association with Sindhudurg District Carrom Association and Bharatiya Janata Party Sports Cell.
In the men’s singles semi-final, Pune’s Sagar Waghmare defeated Mumbai’s Mohammad Ghufran in a three-set match. On the other hand, in the women’s sub-semi-final, youth national champion Samriddhi Ghadigaonkar of Thane defeated Akanksha Kadam of Ratnagiri to reach the semi-final.

Rinki Kumari (Mumbai) won against Diksha Chavan (Sindhudurg), Kajal Kumari (Mumbai) won against Kesar Nirgun (Sindhudurg), Madhura Deole (Thane) won against Prajakta Narayankar (Mumbai Suburb).
