Over the last 1-2 Years, Rishabh Pant has been on the craziest roller-coaster that Life has to offer. After suffering a life-threatening accident, the Indian keeper-batsman was forced to the sidelines away from cricket for over a year. Yet, the Delhi lad never gave up and held his chin high in times of despair and pain.
The Delhi Capitals skipper returned to full fitness earlier this year and went on to play in the IPL where he had a very successful individual season which opened the doors for him to play in the 2024 T20 World Cup in the USA and West Indies. There he showed the world what he brings to the Indian team helping the Men In Blue win their first ICC title in 11 years and their first World Cup in 13 years ending a drought of trophies.
But he didn’t stop there. A few days back, Rishabh Pant made his comeback to Test Cricket in prime Pant style scoring a Century against Bangladesh in the second innings. And yet, with all he is giving the Indian fans, he was subjected to rumours and accusations, which were obviously fake. A Social Media user claimed that Rishabh Pant had Approached RCB and that Virat Kohli didn’t want him there.
He posted a Tweet saying that, “🚨 Rishabh Pant approached RCB 🚨
Pant approached RCB through his manager earlier this week as he foresee a captaincy vacancy there but got declined by RCB’s management. Virat doesn’t want Pant in RCB due to his Political Tactics in Indian team as well as in DC.

Not only did the user try and drag Rishabh Pant’s name into the mud by spreading fake news, but also tried to create tension between Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant, two teammates in the Indian dressing room.
Rishabh Pant actually replied to this post by calling out all those people who like to spread fake news and create tension between fans and players alike. The 26-year-old tweeted, “Fake news . Why do you guys spread so much fake news on social media. Be sensible guys so bad . Don’t create untrustworthy environment for no reason. It’s not the first time and won’t be last but I had to put this out .please always re check with your so called sources. Everyday it’s becoming worst . Rest it’s upto you guys . It’s wasn’t just for you it’s for a lot for people who is spreading misinformation. Tc”
Rest Assured DC fans. Your skipper is going nowhere! On the other hand, it’s very shameful of those who try to mislead the public by spreading fake news and such incidents are common occurrences, especially in India, where people like to have all the Masala they can get.
