Rehan Shaikh Rules the Board, In Inter-School Competition

Rehan Shaikh of Sea Face Municipal School Worli won the Mahim Juvenile Cup Inter School. It is the College Carrom Competition organized by Mahim Juvenile Sports Club-MJSC and Ideal Sports Academy. Dominating Rani on all boards in the game with accurate batting. Rehan Shaikh ended the hard-hitting Podar Academy High School-Malad’s Prasanna ball challenge in the final. 

They clinched the Mahim Juvenile Cup. The winners and runners-up were felicitated with attractive trophies and striker awards. In the presence of MJSC President Vijay Yevlekar, Secretary Rajan Gupta, Vice President Vikas Khanolkar, Treasurer Mahesh Shetye, Executive Member Prasad Kulkarni, Former Cricketer Surendra Babarekar, Chief Umpire Chandrakant Karangutkar, Shiv Chhatrapati Award winner Leeladhar Chavan etc.

Sea Face Municipal School Dominates School Sports

Rehan Shaikh defeated Kasturba Gandhi School’s Siddhant More in the semi-final at the Mahim Juvenile Pavilion at Shivaji Park. The second semi-final match between Atharva Mhatre vs Prasanna Gole of Janganaman Junior College-Kopar was a tight affair till the end. Atharva Mhatre, who was leading 9-7 before the last board. He made a brilliant play at the crucial moment with Prasanna Gole to make it 14-9. 

The final runner-up award was won by Srishan Palvankar of ING English School-Vasai, Neil Mhatre of IES Patkar Vidyalaya-Dombivli, Umair Pathan of Narayan Guru School-Chembur, Samyak Pawar of Saibaba Path Mumbai Public School. 32 athletes from schools and colleges of Mumbai city and suburbs, Thane, Palghar, and Raigad districts participated in this tournament.
