In a remarkable achievement, Pratap Tupe, a skilled player from Sainik Vidyalaya, Beed, has earned a spot in the under-17 Maharashtra KhoKho team for the upcoming National School KhoKho Tournament in Nashik. This selection comes on the heels of his outstanding performance representing Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Division in the State Level School KhoKho Tournament held at Sane Guruji Vidyalaya Cage, organized by the District Sports Office in Beed.
Competing with tenacity, the Sainik Vidyalaya Beed team exhibited commendable teamwork, securing the fourth position in the state competition in the under-17 boys category. Despite a narrow loss against the Mumbai team by just one point, the team’s performance stood out, with Pratap Tupe earning well-deserved recognition.
Pratap Tupe’s selection into the Maharashtra KhoKho team adds to the proud legacy of Sainik Vidyalaya Beed, with a total of 19 players having previously represented Maharashtra in national competitions across KhoKho, Taekwondo, and Handball. The players receive guidance from State Sports Guide Santosh Wable, along with the support and mentorship of Dr. Avinash Bargaje, Vaibhav Bhagwat, Praful Hatwate, Meghraj Kolhe, and Vijaykumar Dharankar.

A., Dr. Avinash Bargaje, Shivaji Pawar, Namdev Salunke, Sunil Adagale, and Sanjay Pawar have played pivotal roles in supporting and encouraging the players on their journey to success.
