Pranav Khatu Secures ‘Junior Mumbai Shree’ Title Amidst Intense Competition

In a fiercely contested ‘Junior Mumbai Shree’ competition at Young Dattaram Gymnasium, Pranav Khatu emerged victorious, showcasing exceptional talent. Nitesh Bhandari and Mehboob Sheikh claimed top honors in the ‘Mumbai Shri’ competition for the disabled, while Pratik Salvi and Anand Yadav excelled in the junior men’s physique category.

The ‘Masters Mumbai Sri’ competition witnessed gold medalists Satish Pujari (70 Kg), Jagdish Kavankar (Above 70 Kg), and Shashikant Jagdale (Above 50), highlighting their prowess in bodybuilding.

Organized by the Brihanmumbai Bodybuilding Association and Mumbai Suburban Bodybuilding and Fitness Association at Shyam Satsang Bhavan in Kandivali West, the event drew over 250 participants, creating an atmosphere of intense competition with a substantial prize pool of two lakhs.

While bodybuilding competitions celebrate physical prowess, some argue that the intense focus on aesthetics may contribute to unrealistic body image expectations, potentially impacting individuals’ mental and physical well-being.
