Neeraj Chopra has been the ‘Golden Man’ for India he won an individual gold medal in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. He became the only second athlete after Abhinav Bindra to win a Gold Medal in the individual event for the nation. Since then he has gotten a lot of attention from the crowd and people of India. He won the silver medal in the Paris Olympics 2024.
The Javelin Thrower once again won the silver medal at the Diamond League tournament in Lausanne. Neeraj threw the javelin 89.49 meters to secure the silver medal. He recently had a hernia operation and has been recovering from it after the surgery. The 26-year-old has been out of the best of forms he showcased in 2020 events. However, he will be back once his rehab is complete.
