Pakistan Could Bail Out India In ICC Women’s T20 World Cup

India has performed poorly in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. Harmanpreet Kaur’s side is on the brink of elimination after the loss against Australia on Sunday. The Women in Blue made a stunning comeback and won two games back-to-back against Pakistan and Sri Lanka. They are on 4 points with 4 games played. New Zealand will be playing Pakistan in the final match of Group A.

The Kiwis have the best chance of qualifying for the tournament’s semi-finals. The Black Caps will play Pakistan in their final match of the group stage on Monday. Fatima Sana’s side would also like to finish better in the tournament as they also have an outside chance to qualify for the next round of the competition. Pakistan needs to beat New Zealand by a big margin. However, they can make it easier for their arch-rivals India to qualify if they win the match in a simple manner.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s stand-in skipper Muneeba Ali stated that her side has not given up hope of making the semi-finals. Pakistan will benefit from the return of captain Fatima Sana, who missed the nine-wicket loss against Australia. They would like to upset the Kiwis who have been in sensational form in the World Cup so far.

India supports Pakistan for the first time

Can Pakistan save their rival’s group-stage exit? Harmanpreet Kaur’s side will be watching the match very closely and support Pakistan for the very first time as their qualification is on their hands. Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka in their opening game and has lost two in a row. They also will be looking to get back in winning ways and positively finish the World Cup campaign.

Meanwhile, the Kiwis who had a disastrous time ahead of the major tournament have come out well in the important tournament and performed as per the expectations from their fans. They would like to secure the birth as the second team from Group A after Australia who has already made their way into the semis after beating India and topping the group by winning all the matches.
