The 96th Annual Academic Awards by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences took place on 10th March 2024, in the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, where 23 films (made and released in 2023) from various categories were nominated for the Oscar Award and Oppenheimer won the Oscar, but the winner is a tale for another day, as we turn heads towards a gown worn to the Oscars 2024, the outfit by Grammy Winner Ariana Grande.
Ariana wore a very pretty pink gown but the deeper we dive into analysing what the stylist was trying to do, the more confusing it gets. The initial look of the outfit is the spectacular colour that complements Ariana’s skin tone well, but the two bulges on the outfit are extra and make no sense, it is thus a very bad choice. The silhouette of the outfit and the textures on it however is mind-blowing (in all good ways) and makes the outfit amazing.
Now, coming to the Jewellery and overall styling of the outfit, the necklace was a literal masterstroke, the elegant pink gem on the necklace was a jaw-dropper and looked very stunning alongside her earrings. Tiffany and Co is iconic for the right reasons with the level of elegance and intricate designs on the jewellery.
Coming to the hair and overall styling vibe, the hair is done perfectly, compliments the outfit so well, and gives a perfect look. However the gown is still not the best, and thus it dulls out the shine of the perfect hair and jewellery in my opinion. So overall the Ariana Oscar look caught the attention for us and there was nothing very special about it to make it feel like a lewk. Hopefully, Ariana will give us more lewk-worthy outfits in the future that we can talk about.
