Mumbai’s women team wins the state carrom tournament

In the 58th Senior State Championship Carrom Tournament held at Central Railway Institute Dadar in collaboration with Central Railway Institute Dadar and organized by Maharashtra Carrom Association, the Mumbai Women’s team won the Team Group title. In the league group, Mumbai won all their matches and earned 8 points to win the group title.

Thane’s team and Pune’s team tied with 4 points each. But based on the scoreboard, Thane’s team was declared runner-up and Pune’s team came third. Kajal Kumari and Ambika Harith won the singles matches for the Mumbai team. Aisha Sajid Khan and Mithali Pathak won their doubles matches.

Kajal Kumari (Mumbai) won vs. Anjali Siripuram (Mumbai), Diksha Chavan (Sindhudurg) won vs. Prajakta Narayanakar (Mumbai Suburb), Madhura Deole (Thane) won vs. Pushkarni Bhattad (Thane), Samriddhi Ghadigaonkar (Thane) won vs. Keshar Nirgun ( Sindhudurg).
