Manu Bhaker Use Nepotism Power To Steer Ministry of Ports

Manu Bhaker has been the best athlete for India in the Paris Olympics 2024. The shooter won two bronze medals. One each in women’s 10m air pistol and 10m air pistol mixed team. In her main event, she missed out after finishing fourth in the women’s 25m pistol event. The young shooter became the first Indian female to win an Olympic medal in shooting. 

Along with the first Indian to win two medals in a single edition of an Olympic Games post-independence. She has been the Golden Girl of India since her return from Paris. The shooter received a massive welcome at the Delhi Airport from the fans. After her historic victory, her brand value has risen. Before returning to India from Paris, Manu received numerous offers worth crores. 

Furthermore, caused a stir in the advertising industry. She has been in high demand for ads for popular brands in the country. At least 40 companies approached Manu for advertising. Now she landed a new role in one of the ministries in the union government. Manu Bhaker has been named as the brand ambassador of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW). Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal made the announcement. It is a huge step forward for the government to address her as an ambassador.

The fact that she grew up in a household that embodied marine industry virtues such as punctuality, discipline, tenacity, and humility. Along with how they may make a meaningful contribution to Bharat becoming Atmanirbhar by 2047.  Bhaker used to receive Rs 20 to 25 lakh each year from the brands. Things have changed recently, with the shooting star reportedly charging up to Rs 1.5 crore per deal a year. However, there has been no formal confirmation of how much Bhaker will collect from the government, but it is estimated to be between Rs 1 and 1.5 crore.
