There are realistically one 2-3 candidates currently for the Title of the Best Player In The World. Vini Jr, Raphinha, but the third is arguably better than the first two, and his name is Mohamed Salah. The Liverpool Winger has had a blistering start to the season already having assisted 10 and scored 10 for Liverpool this season. And in doing so he became the fastest player in Premier League history to do so. He already achieved this task in the first week of November. For all the milestones Mohamed Salah is breaking this season, what’s crazy is that Liverpool FC might not be willing to hold onto him after the end of this season.
Yes, you heard that right! Mohamed Salah’s contract at Liverpool FC ends at the end of the 2024/25 season and by his own admission, the Egyptian King has not yet received a contract renewal offer from Liverpool. And we are almost in December! Commenting on his contract Renewal Situation Mohamed Salah has stated, “I’m probably more out than in! I didn’t receive any proposal. We’re almost in December and I haven’t received any offers yet to stay in the club…”
Mohamed Salah further added, “I’m probably more out than in. You know I have been in the club for many years. There is no club like this… but there’s no proposal to extend now. In the end, it is not in my hands… I have been in the club for many years. I love the fans. The fans love me. It is not in my hands or the fans’ hands. I’m just doing my best because this is who I am and I try to give it all for myself and the club”.
When asked if he was disappointed, Mohamed Salah replied, “Disappointed? Yes, I’m disappointed. Of course I’m disappointed with the situation. I have not seen any sort of proposal from Liverpool so far”.
