An inter-school Yogasana competition was organized for the students on behalf of the Swadantryveer Savarkar Foundation and Haritas Charitable Trust. More than 400 students from the ages of 5 to 16 years participated in this. The competition was held at Gnanada Pratishthan School, Karvenagar.
This competition was inaugurated by Cardiologist Dr. Monika Muralidhar Mohol Rituparna Shinde, Atul Patwardhan, and famous architect Supriya Patwardhan. Children Psychologist Tanuja Mahajan, Pritam Thorve, President of Swatantra Veer Savarkar Foundation, Secretary Meghshyam Deshpande, Prachi Deshpande, Umesh Jadhav, Manali Dev of Haritas Charitable Trust, Amol Dev were present.
The students participating in this competition performed Buddhapadmasana, Bhumasana, Urashtrasana, Gomukhasana, Sarvangasana, and Trikonasana. Before performing yoga asanas to the admiration of the audience. The competition received technical support from Mind and Body Yoga Institute, Pune. Schools from Pune City and Pimpri Chinchwad participated.
After the competition, MNS Kasba Sub Division President Sagar Nipunge, BJP Yuva Morcha Kothrud President Amit Tordamal, Youth Entrepreneur Prashant Tikar, Nayan Thakur General Secretary Kasba Constituency Trade Association Pune, Paresh Devlankar, Santosh alias Bapu Mohol, Sachin Mohol, Harsh Vardhan Khilare Patil announced the final result of the competition.
