Kiara Advani Can Play More Than A Glamorized Sidekick In A Movie

Kiara Advani is known to bring luck to the box office with every movie she stars in. She has earned the tag, “lucky charm” for the huge success of every movie she’s a part of. The opening film is always great at the box office if you have Ms. Kiara Advani in your movie. Audience says that she has a positive influence on the movies and the co-stars. Her movies Kabir Singh, Shershaah, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, and Good Newwz were major hits at the box office.

Now, the discussion of considering Kiara Advani as one of the biggest franchises of Bollywood has been circulating all around. We all must have come across the news of Dhoom 4 happening with Ranbir Kapoor. And now there are rumors of Kiara Advani joining the cast of Dhoom 4 as well. I don’t get it, why the directors of Dhoom 4 are on the path of spoiling it like the Race franchise. By casting actors such as Ranbir Kapoor and Kiara Advani will not benefit the movie at any point.

Firstly, Dhoom 4 is such a high-class movie with action and drama for which Ranbir Kapoor is clearly not meant for, no matter how versatile of an actor he is. And now we hear, there are talks about casting Kiara Advani as well. There is no hate against Kiara Advani but people are now bored of seeing her doing more and more roles of just existing in the movie as the protagonist’s love interest. If you’ve seen Kiara Advani’s “Guilty” you’ll agree with what I’ve to say. Kiara Advani has so much more potential than playing a side character kinda role. The Dhoom 4 demands a character who’s glamorous and energetic.

Now, if she continues to take on such roles it will typecast her as this glamourized sidekick of the industry. At this point in her career, she might wanna avoid taking on such roles and focus on choosing movies that will showcase her versatility and acting skills. Not a movie that focuses on heroism and the girl as an object to the male protagonist’s interested in his life. Movies like Dhoom have given more prominence to the male characters, especially the anti-heroes of the movies, which leaves the female characters less impactful and less screen -time. If Kiara Advani wants to see her character development as an actor, she should let this offer pass.

Comment down if you think Kiara Advani is better off without doing Dhoom 4.
