India’s Women’s Kho Kho Team Is Not Facing Real Competition

At the ongoing Kho Kho World Cup, the India women’s Kho Kho team defeated Bangladesh 109-16 on Friday. This guaranteed their spot in the semi-finals. The team, captained by Priyanka Ingle, demonstrated their supremacy in each of the four turns. Including an amazing Dream Run in Turn 2 that lasted more than five minutes. This was India’s sixth straight match to surpass the 100-point mark in the tournament.

Continuing their incredible run of scoring 100 points or more. The triumph sets up a highly anticipated matchup in the semi-finals on Saturday. Under the leadership of Priyanka Ingle and the seasoned Nasreen Shaikh, India amassed 50 points in Turn 1. With a Dream Run at the beginning, thanks to Captain Ingle, Ashwini Shinde, and Reshma Rathod, the home team maintained their dominance in Turn 2 as well.

The trio continued for five minutes and thirty-six seconds, scoring six points to gain a commanding lead. With two more turns left in the game, the score was 56-8 after the Bangladeshis achieved just four straightforward touches at the end of Turn 2. India dominated the mat once more in turn three, preventing Bangladesh from settling into the match. Rathod scored their fifth consecutive 100 points in the contest with a skydive.

Indian Kho Kho Teams Crush Opponents

With one turn remaining in the quarterfinal match, the score was 106-8 at the end of Turn 3, which was more accurately described as a mauling. India’s Women’s domination persisted into the last turn when they made another spectacular three-point Dream Run to win the game. India’s defense was too strong for Bangladesh, who had trouble finding their rhythm throughout the game and managed just four easy touches in Turn 2.

This resulted in another lopsided victory for India, who finished the game 109-16. India advanced to the semifinals of the men’s division after defeating Sri Lanka 100–40. India gained 58 points in Turn 1 under the leadership of players like Aditya Ganpule, Pratik Waikar, and Ramji Kashyap. They used Dream Runs to keep the Sri Lankans from scoring any points.
