Kajal Kumari and Mohammad Ghufran have been ranked first. In the third state ranking carrom competition sponsored by Utkarsh Small Finance Bank on behalf of Chembur Gymkhana. The state carrom tournament starts on July 20 at 9 am with the men’s singles category.
The women’s group matches will start on July 21. 320 players have participated in men’s singles and 50 players in women’s singles. The organizers will award a cash prize of Rs 25 thousand to the winner of the men’s singles category. The winner of the women’s singles category will receive a cash prize of Rs 8 thousand.
Maharashtra Carrom Association will be telecast live on the YouTube channel for the first few important matches of this tournament. As well as the matches from the sub-semi-finals onwards. Maharashtra Carrom Association is celebrating its 70th year this year and this is the fourth tournament of this season.
Mohammed Ghufran of Mumbai has been seeded first in the men’s singles category with 58 points. Vikas Dharia of Mumbai who scored 43 marks has been given the second rank. Among women, Kajal Kumari of Mumbai is leading with 71 points. She has been ranked first. Samriddhi Ghadigaonkar of Thane has secured 58 points and has bagged the honor of second ranking.
