Maharashtra Women’s team defeated Manipur Women’s team by 117 runs in the Under 15 Women’s T20 League cricket tournament organized by BCCI. In this match, Ishwari Awasare scored an unbeaten century (105) to win the match. The Maharashtra vs Manipur match was played at Nagpur. In this match, the Maharashtra team scored 176 runs for three balls in 20 overs while batting first.
Opener Ishwari Awasare scored an unbeaten 105 in 70 balls. She hit three sixes and fourteen fours. Bhavika Ahire (26), Sahyadri Kadam (13), and Mahek Mulla (27) provided excellent support to Ishwari Awasare by batting well. Manipur’s Angubi took two wickets for 26 runs. The Manipur women’s team had a challenge of 177 runs to win. However, the Manipur team managed to score 59 runs for seven balls in 20 overs.
Tania scored the highest 19 runs not out. Mahenas contributed 18 runs. Other batsmen were dismissed immediately. Achal Aggarwal made his mark by taking three wickets in 12 runs from the Maharashtra team. Gayatri Suravse took two wickets for 12 runs. Bhumika Chavan (1-9), and Shruti (1-4) took one wicket each.
