Riyan Parag has re-established himself in the middle order for the Royals. He scored 573 runs with an excellent average of 52.09 and a strike rate of 149.22. Parag was the pillar for the success of the team last season. He controlled the innings in the middle overs and played some excellent shots down the slog overs. The Royals will not let their best batter from last season go.
2. Yashasvi Jaiswal
Yashasvi Jaiswal has been one of the best openers for India across formats now. But he gained popularity by playing for the Royals over the years and has been an explosive batter. Jaiswal has 435 runs for the franchise with an average of 31.07. He underperformed as per the expectations despite scoring a century. The Southpaw would like to become better next season.
1. Sanju Samson
Sanju Samson has been Mr. Dependable for the franchise. The skipper has made the side perform excellently in the recent few years. He also qualified for the final loss of Gujarat Titans (GT). Samson will look to bring back the trophy. They since 2008 has failed to win the silverware. He will be the first player to be retained by the side.
