Indian hockey team receives grand welcome in Delhi airport

The Indian hockey team returned home after winning the bronze medal in the Paris Olympics. The hockey players were welcomed at the Delhi airport with drum beats. Fans had gathered outside the airport since morning waiting for the Indian players to welcome them at the Delhi airport. The players were also shell-shocked with the warm welcome in the country. The nation so far has won 6 medals in the 2024 edition with 5 bronze and 1 silver.

The Indian hockey team ended a 41-year medal drought at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 and won a bronze medal led by Manpreet Singh. The team has maintained its medal tally in Paris.
