Just before the start of IPL 2024, Rajasthan Royals were dealt a huge blow as Australian leg spinner Adam Zampa has withdrawn from the tournament for personal reasons.
Zampa’s withdrawal comes hot on the heels of Prasidh Krishna’s withdrawal from the tournament after having to undergo surgery. And the absence of two key bowlers is set to hurt the former champions.
The Rajasthan team will enter the field under the leadership of Sanju Samson. Rajasthan Royals will play their opening match against Lucknow SuperGiants on March 24. This match will be played in Jaipur. After that, Rajasthan will play against Delhi Capitals on March 28.
