Yes, I’m talking about how Coachella has added not just Diljit Dosanjh for the second time in its raw but two more Indian-origin artists to perform at Coachella 2025. After confirming Diljit Dosanjh and AP Dhillon to be the performers in Coachella, it just announced Hanumankind to be one of the Indian-origin artists to headline the event. Seems surreal, doesn’t it?
What used to be just an international or foreign event for us has now three Indians on their performing list. Such a proud moment for Indian music listeners. This unique blend of music, style, and culture is what makes Coachella one of the prettiest musical events of all time. The presence of all these three singers is such a significant moment for South Asian music to represent itself globally. The fact that Coachella is bringing up artists like Diljit Dosanjh, AP Dhillon, and Hanumankind shows how much the music game is changing and reshaping its form. Now Coachella is not just about the mainstream English singers and rappers it’s more about giving the stage for rappers of other cultures to shine globally.
Hanumankind who burst like a firecracker this year because of his song “Big Dawgs” is one of the most anticipated performances of Coachella 2025. The Indian-American artist known for his innovative visions of hip-hop is ready to deeply influence the audience at Coachella. He’s no longer just a niche rapper in the hip-hop industry but soon to be a global name people will look up to. And with Asap Rocky inviting him to join the stage with his has infinitely increased the aura of Hanumankind.
AP Dhillon’s rapid rise to fame in India and all over the music industry made it quite predictable that this artist wasn’t meant just for the Indian music industry. The artist who’s currently wrapped up in his upcoming tour to Indian is one of the three Indian artists to perform at the Coachella. From Punjabi music to Bollywood to Coachella shows the demand for diverse sounds in the musical market. This Punjabi artist needs no introduction at the Coachella. My personal favourite Diljit Dosanjh has proved himself to be a true gem. We need to keep him away from any negativity out there. It’s not just his indescribable talent that got him here, the singer’s way of dealing with his fans with generosity and love is too sacred. The second time in a row Diljit will be proudly shouting “O Punjabi aagye Coachella oye”. Coachella 2025 is going to be an electrifying event with artists like Tyla, Travis Scott, and Post Malone being a part of it.
