On Sunday, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin declared a cash reward of Rs 75 lakh for chess prodigy D Gukesh, who emerged victorious in the FIDE Candidate Tournament held in Toronto.
Additionally, Stalin presented Gukesh with a shield and a shawl during the felicitation ceremony, which was attended by State Sports Development Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, top officials, and Gukesh’s parents.
