Gold Medalist: Vaibhav Shinde Honored by Housing Minister Atul Save

In a heartwarming recognition of sporting achievement, Vaibhav Shinde, hailing from Bavi in Dharashiv district, stood in the spotlight as he clinched the gold medal in the national school fencing competition held in Jammu. The foil category, in the age group of 19, witnessed Shinde’s exceptional skills, bringing glory to Shree Venkatesh Secondary and Higher Secondary Ashram School, Ghatangri.

Vaibhav Shinde, currently a 12th-grade science student, received a hero’s welcome upon his return to Dharashiv. The State Housing Minister, Atul Save, took center stage in felicitating the young fencing sensation at the airport. The event was graced by BJP General Secretary Sanjay Kenekar, international trainer Prof. Sagar Magare, along with the presence of Vishwajit Kulkarni and Sanjay Bhosale.
