When the game was tied at 1-1 against Betis, Lamine Yamal turned on the switch and went up 2-3 gears and started playing like a man possessed. With a mazy run dribbling through 4 defenders and then a beautifully weighted assist to Ferran Torres to make ot 2-1. Sadly for the 17-year-old, his teammates let him down as Real Betis scored in the 94th minute of the match to make it 2-2.
It’s crazy how one of the, if not the biggest clubs in the world are relying on a teenager to take them over the line. It shows the sheer quality Lamine Yamal possesses. It’s almost reminiscent of a certain Lionel Messi.
