Erik Ten Hag’s Shamelessness Knows No Bounds

Erik Ten Hag is shameless. He is a disgrace. This man isn’t a serious manager. His lack of accountability is there for all to see. He’s been at Manchester United for almost 2 years now and yet there’s no change. He declared that all eras have an end, referring to Klopp and Pep’s dominance in the Premier League. Well he was right about one thing, eras do come to an end, and his disgraceful era at Man Utd is at an end. If the Red Devils are a serious football club, they must sack this fraud of a manager.

Fairytale First Season

When Erik Ten Hag was hired in 2022, there was a lot of excitement. Many fans expected the Dutch Manager to change Man Utd’s fortunes. He certainly asserted himself in unforgettable fashion after his feud with Cristiano Ronaldo. Despite all the drama, the first season was a resounding success. A 3rd place finish and a Carabao Cup victory was a sign of big things ahead.

Disastrous Defeats

This season has been a nightmare for Manchester United. They’ve lost more games in this season than any other in their history. They were humiliated in the Champions League, losing games to Copenhagen after choking a lead. Furthermore, they have been dreadful in the Premier League this season. After 33 games gone, they are 13 points off a champions league spot. They have done well in the Fa Cup, making another final, but with Pep Guardiola’s city waiting for them, the chances of clinching the cup are slim.

Catastrophe Against Coventry

On Sunday, Manchester United choked a 3-0 lead against Coventry City in the Fa Cup. They were thoroughly outclassed by a Championship side. They somehow scrapped out a win on penalties but it was an embarrassing performance. Both fans and Pundits were quick to criticize Ten Hag’s side. Manchester United, the Premier League record champions were humiliated by a side in the second division. The criticism from the media was warranted and deserved. Any other manager would have taken accountability and focused on the final. But Erik Ten Hag isn’t any other manager.

Erik Ten Hag Is An Embarrassment

Ten Hag remarked that the Media reaction to their scrappy win was ‘’embarrassing’. He said he doesn’t understand the criticism of his team. This statement was shameless. Instead of holding himself and his team accountable, he decides to lash out at the media. This man is an absolute embarrassment. He thinks he is untouchable. Recently, he put young Alejandro Garnacho under the bus. For context, Garnacho is 19-years old and has been one of United’s best players this season. His man-management is terrible. Instead of holding senior players such as Rashford, Onana or Casemiro responsible for their terrible performances, he blames youngsters. This man is a disgrace.

Sacked In The Morning

Erik Ten Hag needs to go. His decisions have backfired at every level. He still hasn’t given this soulless Man United team an identity and his signings (Antony) have been dreadful. Ten Hag most certainly has a problem with accountability and responsibility. The Dutchman is in no way the heir to Sir Alex Ferguson and at this rate, he needs to be fired. Ten Hag is not the man for Manchester United.
