Divya Khosla Refuses To Relent In Her Slam Of “Jigra”

Divya Khosla is not done with defaming Alia Bhatt, Jigra, and the Koffee owner Karan Johar. She’s back with yet more than just one claim about Alia Bhatt’s movie Jigra and it seems we’re gonna see a hell of a war between Mrs. T-Series and Mr. Dharma Production. Before I get you all confused on who’s slamming who and why Divya Khosla is calling Karan Johar a disgusting man, let me start with how the whole Jigra showing fake collection controversy started.

The day when Jigra was released it was in direct competition with T-Series produced, “Vicky Vidya Ka Who Wala Video”. Later on, Divya Khosla posted a story on her Instagram profile claiming that Alia Bhatt had inflated the Jigra’a Box Office collection. She wrote, “Went to Citi Mall PVR for Jigra show. Theatre was totally empty … all theaters going empty every where. #Aliabhatt me sach mein Bahut #Jigra hai.. khud hi tickets karide aur fake collections announce kar diye. Wonder why paid media is silent. #weshdnotfooltheaudience #truthoverlies #HappyDussehra.”

In response of her claims, Karan Johar posted a cryptic story on her social media, which said, “Silence is the best speech you can give to fools”. Now, to me this didn’t feel offensive enough to make a big buzz about it, I mean if you’re putting an accusation on someone, you should be ready to face it too. Recently in an Interview, Divya Khosla again spoke on the cryptic post shared by Karan Johar, which might be directed towards her, “might be”. To this Divya Khosla reacted, “Today, when I speak up, Mr Karan Johar uses derogatory language to shut me down. Is it right to call a woman a fool for pointing out unethical practices?” She further questioned: “If this happens to me, what about those new to the industry? No one is a king here, and I won’t be treated like a subject.” Divya Khosla also accused Karan Johar’s PR team of taking a derogatory tone against her. “I am already well known,” claimed Divya.

The controversy might have started with a “fake collection” but it has come to a point where Divya is accusing Jigra of a copy of the movie “Savi”. She claimed that both the movies, “Jigra” and “Savi” have the same plot. Jigra is receiving more criticism than love from people. The more-than-needed response from Divya Khosla makes me wonder if the whole standing for the right is a PR stunt or if she’s actually concerned about speaking for the right thing.
