British Band Coldplay is all set to return to India for their music tour “ Music of the Spheres World Tour” at DY Patil Sports Stadium in Mumbai on the 18th and 19th of January, and now surprisingly on the 21st too.
The tickets went live on the 22nd of September on BookMyShow, which no wonder crashed the site at first. The manifestation of millions of people, seeing the band live could not come true. Within a few minutes after the launch, the site crashed due to overwhelming traffic up to 9 to 10 lakh people waiting in queue for their turn to book the tickets. With this immense craze for the show, BookMyShow announced a third show right after all the tickets went sold out for the first two days.
What amazes me is the fact that the same band came to India in 2016 as well but didn’t attract even half the audience it does now. The last time that Coldplay performed in India was during the Global Citizens Festival, where the lead vocalist of the band Chris Martin shared the stage with Indian Artist Arijit Singh. Let’s break down what makes Coldplay completely stand out from other bands, and highlight its spectacular vibe, creativity, and most importantly divine music.
