Denver Nuggets Shut Critics With Another Stellar Win Over T-Wolves

The Denver Nuggets crawled their way back into the series with an emphatic 115-107 win in Game 4 against the Minnesota Timberwolves. After going 0-2 down, many counted the defending champions out and some even thought that they would be swept by the T-Wolves. However, Michael Malone and his men showed great resilience to steal two wins in Minnesota and put themselves back in a good position to win the series.

NBA MVP Nikola Jokic led the way for the Nuggets as he scored 35 points on the night. He also grabbed 7 rebounds and made as many assists to help Denver secure a win. Aaron Gordon once again stepped up with a massive performance as he added 27 points while shooting 11-12 from the field. Jamal Murray made his presence felt with 19 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 2 steals against the T-Wolves.

The bench also made a great contribution for the Nuggets as Christian Braun and Justin Holiday added 11 and 10 points respectively. Despite Timberwolves’ best attempts, they were unable to stop the offensive brilliance the Nuggets displayed in Game 4. Anthony Edwards had a massive 44-point night, but that was not enough to prevent a loss. After clamping Denver in Game 1 and 2, the T-Wolves have struggled to contain them in the last two games. They will have to revisit their strategy as the defending champions could run away with the series if they don’t step up in the upcoming games.

Denver Nuggets have figured out the T-Wolves

The Denver Nuggets struggled to find anything going on the offensive end in Games 1 and 2. However, they have been a lot better in the last two matchups and all of this is down to their improved offense. Jamal Murray, who struggled at the start of the series, has stepped up in Games 3 and 4 for the Denver Nuggets. He has been making shots and also creating good plays for his teammates, which have helped them massively.

Aaron Gordon has also come to life and is playing incredibly well for the defending champions. He has averaged 17.3 PPG and is shooting the ball well against the T-Wolves. His impact on the defensive end has made things difficult for Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert. If Aaron Gordon continues putting up similar performances, the T-Wolves will struggle to pull off another win in the series.

While many thought the T-Wolves would easily win the series, the Denver Nuggets pulled things back with two stellar wins. They now will go into Game 5 high on confidence after their recent performances. The Nikola Jokic-led team showed the world that they were crowned champions for a reason. They are a side with great chemistry and their next man-up mentality is what makes them a tough side to beat.
