Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Agricultural University Parbhani has won the gold medal in the inter-collegiate chess tournament organized by Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Sanstha, Kanchanwadi Agricultural College. 19 colleges participated in this competition. The competition was held recently at Nanasaheb Kadam Agricultural College, Gandheli.
On this occasion, the gold medal was distributed to the team of Agriculture College Kanchanwadi by Prof. DF Rathod (in-charge Student Welfare Officer), Prof. Shahu Chavan, and Principal Dr. Nilesh Mhaske. Students Aman Bajad, Aditya Giri, Aryan Chaurasia, Soham Pawar, and Nishant Kurandkar participated in the gold medal-winning team. At the college level, these students were guided by Prof. Rajaram Rathod and Dr. Sushil Whitnor.
All the winning athletes were felicitated by the secretary of the institute Padmakarrao Mule, the president of the institute Ranjit Mule, the trustee of the institute Sameer Mule, and the administrative officer Dr. Srikant Deshmukh as well as the director of the college Dr. Dattatray Shelke, the principal Dr. Praveen Bainade, the vice-principal Prof. Atul Bhondve and all the professors of the college.
