After completely dominating the first test at Perth India became the first side to beat Australia at the Optus Stadium. The Men in Blue won the match with 295 runs against the Kangaroos. After building a 157-run lead in the first innings, Pat Cummins and his team cleaned India out for 175 runs in the second inning before chasing down the 19-run mark in 3.2 overs without losing a wicket. His current bowling average of approximately 20 is the second-best among bowlers with more than 150 Test wickets. He currently has 11 fifers in the format. The 30-year-old has relished his outings against Australia, owning 44 wickets in nine matches against them. The Southpaw was set a new record for the fastest century in day-night Tests. The third Test will begin on December 14 at The Gabba in Brisbane. Head scored three figures in 111 balls.
