China reaches 300; witnessing a new era of dominance

The Paris Olympics 2024 has come to an end. The USA has been the most successful nation in the multinational event. China was the second most successful team in the major event. They won a total of 91 medals including 40 gold, 27 silver, and 24 bronze medals at the Paris Olympics. In this event, China won the 300th gold medal in Olympic history.

It is a historic achievement for the nation to win 300 medals in one of the biggest events. By winning the table tennis women’s team title, China achieved a place in Olympic history that had only been held by two countries before. In the final of the women’s team event, China defeated Japan 3-0 to win their fifth gold medal in a row. China also won the medal in the men’s team event.

After the historic win, Sun Yingsha of China, the world number one, said, “Every one of us gave it our all and everyone did well. I was lagging when I came up, but I didn’t give up. Listening to everyone’s cheers, I became even more motivated. After these Olympics, I will take some time to reflect and continue working hard.”

China continues to dominate in the Olympics

South Korea won the bronze medal with a 3-0 win over Germany. This is Korea’s first medal in the team event since the 2008 Beijing Olympics. China is a table tennis superpower. He won all five gold medals in the Paris Olympics. Table tennis was included in the Olympics in 1988. Since then, China has won 37 out of 42 gold medals in this Games.

The Olympics started back in 1896. The United States has won the most gold medals in its 128-year history. America has won more than 1100 golds. Russia is second in terms of most Olympic gold medals (385). China is third and Britain is fourth. Britain has won 299 gold medals. France has won 239 golds and is in fifth place. India has won a total of 41 medals in the Olympics, including 10 gold medals.
